Ein paar Beispiele: Der grösste Teil unserer genutzten Energie ist Solarenergie. Die lokalen Mitarbeitenden kochen täglich auf dem Pyrolyse-Brenner. Als Brennstoff dienen Holzschnitzel, ein Abfallprodukt der lokalen Schreinerei. Für unsere Fischzucht verwenden wir ein geschlossenes Kreislaufsystem. Das durch die Fische verunreinigte Wasser wird biologisch aufbereitet und wieder in die Haltungsbecken zurückgeleitet. A few examples: Most of our energy used is solar. Local employees cook daily on the pyrolysis burner. Wood chips, a waste product from the local carpentry shop, serve as fuel. For our fish farming we use a closed loop system. Water contaminated by the fish is biologically treated and returned to the holding tanks. (Recirculating Aquaculture Systems, RAS).
